They are often located near copy machines and are generally needed for the storage of paper and office supplies. Either cabinets or open adjustable shelving can be used to increase your office storage space.
Considerations for office supply cabinets include the coordination of the paper size with the interior drawer box sizes. Unopened reams of 8.5” x 11” Letter, 8.5” x 14” Legal, and 11” x 17” Tabloid sizes can all be easily stored in drawers if coordinated properly. Drawer bodies should be sized about 1” to 1.5” wider than the paper dimension to allow for your fingers to get the ream out of the cabinet drawer.
